Early Pregnancy Classes ($30 for mom and partner)
This class is best taken during the first and second trimester. Topics include fetal development, nutrition, cures for the discomforts of pregnancy, emotional and physical health, tips on choosing a birth hospital, pediatrician and daycare provider, guidelines for a safe and wonderful massage for moms-to-be and other ways to care for yourself.

Lamaze Prepared Childbirth Classes ($160 for mom and partner)
$60 is the registration fee, payable at registration.
The other $100 is the tuition, which is paid to the instructor.
Educational and interactive class focusing on practical pain management skills and comfort measures that will instill confidence in the mother and her partner and insure a positive experience. Ideally this should be completed a month before your due date. Register early-they fill fast!!

Class options include a weekly series, weekend series or a one day format providing a more concise structure for the busy professional. All classes provide the same content. The $150.00 class fee (includes mom and her partner) is the same for all formats.

Infant Care Classes ($60 for mom and partner)
($25 additional fee if you wish to bring a grandparent or babysitter in addition to your partner)

A 3-hour hands-on experience with dolls and infant products devoted to instilling confidence for the expectant parents. This is a fun class where both parents learn:

Breastfeeding Classes ($60 for mom and partner)
Board-certified lactation consultants (IBCLC's) provide a comprehensive 2 1/2 hour class. This class is an absolute must for the family wishing to breastfeed. Formula prices for the first year range from $1700 to $3,000 annually. While breastfeeding is a natural process, there are many facets to learning how to have a good milk supply and to preventing difficulties. Staffing issues in the hospital limit how much time can be spent providing individual instruction so prepare yourself to succeed. Ideally this should be completed a month before your due date. Register early-they fill fast!! Fathers are highly encouraged to attend and really enjoy the class. No nudity involved.

Private Classes (price is per hour)
We offer a variety of private classes for women who want the one-on-one contact with an instructor. Lamaze childbirth preparation, infant care, Cesarean and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) classes are all available in private sessions. These classes can be specially designed to focus on the specific concerns of the mother-to-be and her partner.

Cesarean Private Class ($125 plus travel)
Couples scheduled for a planned cesarean benefit from this private class detailing the cesarean procedure and the recovery period. The one-on-one with the instructor enables the couple to air any concerns they may have, which helps them to make the most of the experience.

VBAC Private Class ($125 plus travel)
We offer private classes for pregnant women who have had a child by cesarean section and are considering a vaginal birth (VBAC) for this delivery. Couples meet one-on-one with a trained VBAC instructor. Topics covered include:
